Guillermo del Toro week

Guillermo del Toro's haunted house film Crimson Peak hits theaters Friday. If you aren't excited for this, I don't think we can be friends any more.

Seriously though. This looks like what many horror fans have been craving for years, not just from del Toro but from the genre. Enough about Crimson Peak as we will talk more about it once I see it. This post is to let you know that I have decided that this shall be GUILLERMO DEL TORO WEEK here at Warning Signs.

In other words, we'll talk about his films -- the ones he's made and the ones he hasn't -- his non-directorial projects and his influence on the state of horror as it is now.

What this means, too, is that I'll be able to get my wife in on the fun. She likes Blade and the franchise is one of the few horror entries she'll watch.

We'll also discuss some of the coverage leading up to the release of Crimson Peak. Just in case you haven't seen a trailer for the movie yet, here's one for you.
