Boys and girls of every age...

Can you feel it? It is October again. This is my favorite month of the year. maybe it is yours, too. If so, we can be friends. If it isn't, well, somehow you ended up here, so you can still be my friend.

This morning, my toddler tried to put a cheap plastic hockey mask on a plush bat. My hope is that October and the Halloween season will become his favorite time of year, too.

We are planning costumes and I'm sure we'll have fun with that. The seeds are there, now we must gather materials. Look forward to those pics when the time comes.

What else can you expect to see from Warning Signs in the next 30 days, you ask. We'll do our best to see some new horror movies (AnnaBelle comes out this Friday) and watch some old ones. We have some horror books to discuss and another round of horror TV (seriously, how did we get to season 5 of The Walking Dead already?) to chat about. We'll also have the annual visit to the local haunted house.

All of this culminates is the grandest night of the year. My son toddles, as I mentioned previously, so he's not quite ready for door-to-door trick-or-treating but we will get some candy.

And I, founder of this blog and your humble narrator, will celebrate my 35th birthday. Presents are welcome (especially physical copies of books and movies for review purposes).

How will you be spending October? Drop us a comment and let us know.

Until then,

STAY SCARED!
