Putting together PARTS of a whole

Do you like 1930s and '40s-style mad scientist book covers? You do? So do I.

Check that action out. Artist Chris Caprile has created this floating head for Chris Weedin's PARTS: Graveyard Shift, the Adventures of Carson Dudley, Book 3. The first two books from Weedin are fun-for-the-whole-family terrors and I expect more of the same during this go-around.

The best part is that you can help Weedin get this book into your (severed) hands by supporting his Kickstarter campaign. The campaign officially begins on Oct. 17, so if you are looking for a fun way to celebrate Halloween and support an author whom you will grow to love, this would be a cool way to do it. The list of incentives starts out awesome (eBook copies, paperbacks, signed paperbacks) and grows into spectacular (a visit from Weedin to your school/church/youth group).

Weedin's world started with Horror Rules, a role-playing game and it is still growing. Check back here soon for more information on the growing universe of Carson Dudley and his hometown of Las Calamas.
