It's almost Halloween, the best day of the year. This, of course, means that I'm listening to more than my usual amount of Oingo Boingo, Bauhaus, Type O Negative, and other such bands. But the standard for "scary" songs is "The Monster Mash" by Bobby "Boris" Pickett.
Interesting fact: "The Monster Mash" was the number one song on the Billboard Hot 100 on Oct. 20, 1962, during the height of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Hooray for history!
