Final Girl takes on Corn marathon

Bravery comes in many forms. Stacie Ponder, purveyor of the Final Girl blog and many other wonderful things (you should buy one of her T-shirts), just spent 17 hours watching all of the Children of the Corn movies.

I don't think I could do that. Most of them are just awful. Somehow, Ponder survived--as Final Girls tend to do. You can read all about this adventure is cinematic masochism here.

Take a look, drop here a line, let here know Warning Signs sent you.

This, of course, begs the question: what are your horror marathon limits? Could you sit through all of the Leprechaun movies? In my world, Friday the 13th marathons aren't that uncommon and it really only gets rough around Part 5, the skids on parts 8-X (even though there are scenes in Jason Takes Manhattan and Jason X I absolutely love).

Ponder included the reboot/remake Children of the Corn: Genesis in her marathon, which leads to another question: do you include remakes in your marathons? I totally through in the 2009 Friday the 13th but I haven't watched the A Nightmare on Elm Street remake since I saw it in the theater.

In other words, what are your marathon rules?
