Can I be scary?

In the above clip, Beetlejuice explains why he is qualified to scare the living out of a house owned by ghosts. He wasn't hired, but attempted to do the job anyway.

I shall now do the same.

Do you need a horror expert to talk to for a Halloween story? Perhaps you are a journalist looking to talk to someone about Halloween, scary movies or things that go bump in the night. Well, I'm your guy.

What are my qualifications? You're reading this blog, aren't you? Seriously, though. Let's talk about me.

Many people say they were horror fans from day one. I was born on Halloween, so I think I have the upper hand there. I have been a horror and Halloween fan since birth.

More prescient qualifications include my work in haunted attractions, including my first job when I was 15. I've worked in one of the best haunted attractions in the country, Freakling Bros. Horrorshows, and been reading and writing horror for as long as I can remember.

Scary movie? Let's watch all of them we can. From high-tech modern ghost stories to low-budget cheesy teen horrors, I'll watch it. My patience for poorly written horror is not as high, unfortunately.

So, need someone to talk to about horror? Need someone to walk through your haunted house and let you know if it's scary enough? I'm your guy.
