Pardon me. I know you have a real name and that the role of Lily Munster wasn't the only acting you ever did. You were on TV more than 20 years before becoming one of the 1960s goth goddesses. You were in "The Ten Commandements," for crying out loud.
And maybe it seems weird to write you a letter on your birthday since it's been four years since you passed away.
But we horror fans (even those of us who enjoy horror-based comedy such as "The Munsters") still appreciate you. You and Carolyn Jones (Morticia Addams) are icons for the goth wardrobe. Without you, who knows what awful clothes goths would be wearing today.
So anyway, have a happy birthday, wherever you are. And always remember, "The Munsters" theme song is WAY cooler than "The Addams Family" theme song.
