Zomboo's House of Horrors

When I lived in Reno, Nev., Saturday nights were something special. Some of you might have similar memories. If you grew up with a midnight horror host, you know what I'm talking about.

Sure, Elvira was hot, "Mystery Science Theater 3000" eventually garnered a big audience, but for me, Zomboo was The Man.

I was very single at the time, so not only did I enjoy Zomboo's silly antics, but I kind of had a crush on Bianca the Rack Girl. She brought a certain flavor to the show that was more Elvira than MSTK3. I remember one show where Zomboo and the Rack Girl dressed like cave people. I'm sure the movie was of a similar theme, but I can't say for sure.

I haven't lived in Reno for almost a decade. Thankfully, Zomboo and all his ghouls are still going strong. Even better, many of the show's promos are on YouTube.

The show is even available for syndication. If you don't have a late night horror host in your area, maybe one of your local channels can adopt Zomboo.

Or, if you are a station local to me, you can give me a couple hours on Saturday night and I'll do it.
