Scary song of the week: Feed My Frankenstein

Try to ignore Wayne and Garth for a few minutes and focus. Alice Cooper's "Feed My Frankenstein" is the new Scary Song of the Week.

What made me choose this song? Points. Not scoring, but tracking. With my wife's encouragement, I have been tracking the food I eat, WeightWatchers style. Based on a number of factors, foods have a point value and you only get so many points per day.

I'm told I will lose weight by keeping within my daily points allotment. I get 54 points a day. A homemade cheeseburger I ate yesterday cost me 12 points.

So I've had food on my mind the last few days. I'm like a monster that can only be satiated with fatty, greasy foods.

Here's what I didn't realize when I first heard this song at the tender age of 12: "Feed My Frankenstein" is about a sexual deviant who compares women to food. It's obvious now, but at the time I had no idea.

And for the record, like the song's protagonist, I ain't evil, I'm just good looking.
